9/21 Learning Procedures with Card Games
Sushi Go was an interesting game to learn about. It reminded me a lot of another group's game they made from the sport volleyball where they took out everything except spiking and blocking and used cards to determine who won rounds. Players would also swap cards in between rounds as well. In Sushi go, multiple cards were worth multiple points. There were many catches, however. Some cards needed to have pairs or threes to be worth anything. Others had to be played with another card to make points, like the wasabi. Also, the pudding was very interesting. Whoever had the least pudding lost points, while whoever had the most gained points. To be honest the game seems a little over complicated, but once played through enough times, I can see it being very fun and enjoyable. It very much related to Piper's group's game.
